Director of Development

Remote
Full Time
Senior Manager/Supervisor

Community Health Impact Coalition is making professional community health workers (proCHWs) the norm worldwide by changing guidelines, funding, and policy. We research to equip international norm setters with evidence. We advocate to influence global financing institutions. And we activate in-country CHW networks to win proCHW national policy. CHIC includes CHWs and global health organizations in 60 countries. We exist because CHWs work. Our vision is quality care for all, including those who provide it.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

CHIC is looking for a Development Director who brings equal parts strategic firepower and operational discipline—someone ready to architect and drive a dynamic, creative, and high-performance fundraising function.

This isn’t a “maintain the machine” role. It’s for a builder: someone who thrives on designing from scratch, forging unlikely partnerships, testing new capital models, and pushing bold ideas into motion.

You’ll work directly with the CEO to raise major capital, nurture relationships, and design the systems that turn vision into revenue—with clarity, creativity, and urgency.

If the thrill of building and run fundraising systems, driving donor growth and strategic partnerships, and owning reporting and revenue stewardship is exciting, rather than overwhelming, you are likely to thrive in this role. We envision this role as a 1-person team initially, with room to bring on an additional teammate within 12-24 months. We are looking for a radically collaborative team player with a strong growth mindset.
